bunnies!

Were the bunnies here?
No, you silly one!
That's Smitty, looking into the camera.
So is Caitlyn, while Christy and Mary try their best to ignore its direct gaze.
They were all waiting for the arrival of Zach.
Was Kobe to be with him?
Nope, not this time.
Why had he not traveled with his stepsister and niece from Port Wentworth?
Apparently, he was not yet ready.
(smile!)
And see that gorgeous red and yellow in the foreground?
That's one of a cluster of tulips Christy brought.
(smile!)

Are there bunnies here?
Not hardly!
I doubt Mary would allow any to come to harm.
But there certainly was a variety of meats to enjoy!
Smitty had smoked two Cornish game hens, plus some sausage links, and those are in the rectangular pan.
Then there's the Easter ham, and I'm not sure if he cooked it himself or if he bought it already done.
Mary made mac'n'cheese, green beans, sweet potato souffle, and...
she even baked a pound cake for dessert!
(smile!)

Are there any bunnies right there?
You mean on the stage?
No bunnies with Alfonso Rituerto.
The magician from Spain did have a teddy bear as part of his variation on "the miser's dream."
He didn't win a trophy on "Penn & Teller: Fool Us", but he did touch their hearts - and mine - with this nod to those who find themselves homeless in hard times.
This was after I got home from my foray to Dutch Island, and impromptu golf lesson from my brother.
(smile!)
Oh! I see bunnies now!
Nope, not so, dearie.
Those are people dressed in accordance to their concepts of the Easter Bunny, with baskets of goodies for children.
It was on a darling episode of "The Vicar Of Dibley" that was run out of sequence last night.
Ditzy Letitia, on her deathbed, had made each visitor promise to carry on her family's seasonal work...
and each had done so, gladly!
(smile!)
Well, you can't fool me with this one!
No long-eared, fluffy-tailed, critter there, just a cartoon character!
(smile!)
Ah, but that's where you're wrong.
The only photo that shows off such a creature is this one, with Bugs Bunny.
His name even declares it so!
Rather nice touch that he's playing ball!
(smile!)
