I've seen this parable before and truly believe in its message.
There are no coincidences, recuerda?
*****
A farmer won a prize for his stallion at a country fair. His neighbor came to congratulate him. The farmer said "Who knows what is good and what is bad?"
The horse was stolen by some thieves passing through town. The neighbor came to commiserate with the farmer. The farmer said "Who knows what is good and what is bad?"
The horse escaped and returned home followed by two wild mares. The neighbor couldn't believe how lucky the farmer was. The farmer said "Who knows what is good and what is bad?"
The farmer's only son was thrown while trying to break one of the new mares and he broke his leg. The neighbor felt sorry for the farmer. The farmer said "Who knows what is good and what is bad?"
The next day soldiers came to the farm looking for conscripts. They left the son because of his broken leg. Finally the neighbor understood "Who knows what is good and what is bad?"

You never know how things will turn out, after all...
unless YOU can tell the future...
because I certainly cannot.
