two hurricanes, two days later

When I last reported on hurricane Lee, it was still moseying along northward at only 7 mph.

48 hours later, it has picked up speed.

Now zooming along with the North Atlantic Current, it's literally racing at 20 mph!

And what about its maximum sustained winds?

They're down from 105 mph to 80 mph and are well away from any landfall.

How about Margot?

That one was never as strong as Lee to begin with, and wandering into the Sargasso Sea didn't help its situation.

Literally, Margot is spinning in circles, losing both rate of travel (7 mph to 5 mph) as well as wind power (85 mph to 65 mph) along the way.

Here's hoping the doldrums catch any other hurricanes heading east.
