I did well at logging into TripAdvisor
during my adventures hither and yon.
I had surpassed their badge for 120,000 Readers,
but not yet reached 125,000 Readers.
That's attained when fifty readers have marked a review as being good information for them.
I've actually had 138 readers do that!
What that means is that more than a third of my 382 reviews have held words of wisdom for fellow travelers.
Glad to be of service, y'all!
Sadly, that site has been neglected since the trip to California last year.
Wondering what prompted me to venture there again and leave my words? It was, by far, the most stunning display laid upon the table before the seven of us.
Truly!
I think I may have even gasped a little!
The other chemistry ladies had ordered salads and bowls and, while nice, they were far from stunning.
Titled the "Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich", I had to separate it and alternate taking bites of the meat 'half' and the veggie 'half' to get the desired taste...
and how scrumptious it was!
of our lunch bunch?
Well, first on my side was Yvonne.
That's Alice, from her book club, beside her.
Then there's Leah on the end there.
I was trying to be slick with my camera, going
for the candids that I prefer to the posed shots.
(smile!)
On the end, opposite Leah, as The 'Cole.
And the one in the middle is Cynthia.
She used to be the Dean's assistant before Armstrong
was morphed into GaSoU.
She's a free agent now, like me.
(smile!)
And where were we this time?
Cathy had suggested Oak 36 and, with none of us ever
having been there, we all jumped at the chance.
Yes, it was pretty pricey for a lunch spot...
but, the food was very good and portions were plentiful.
I even took half of mine home and had it for dinner!
I may have to go back some time just to get the Brussels sprouts.
Delicious!!!
So glad I chose that instead of the fries!
So glad I had these friends to dine with on this gorgeous day!
Yvonne had figured out that she and I met in 1986, taking organic chem together.
Cathy Mac and I met in 1994 when I started teaching at Armstrong; she was still a newbie, having only been there since '93.
How wonderful to have these two women in my life!
Now, back to getting TripAdvisor up to date...
that may take a while!
Thanks for the inspiration, whoever the chef is that created that sandwich!

All total, I added ten reviews.
TEN!
It took me three hours, or near abouts, to do it, but the time flew by, as it does in rabbit holes.
(smile!)
Here they are, in no particular order.

Oh, for your info, that brings me up to Level 35 Restaurant Reviewer (for at least 105 dining places).
I'm also a Level 16 Attraction Reviewer (for at least 48 places of interest).
Sweet!
