girls' trip, day 4: back to the 'vannah

One last shot of our beach view before leaving...
then out the door we went to beat the 10 AM curfew.
The cleaning crew already had the bag of clean sheets and towels outside the door.
I have no doubt that someone else will make this their "vacation home" at 4 PM today.
I do hope they will enjoy it as much as we have.
(smile!)
We stopped to gas up on the way.
Didn't want to run on fumes!
Then, an hour later, we pulled off the highway...
had to check out the Buc-ee's, you know!
Just to let you know, there is some truth in advertising.
"Potty like rock stars", as the billboards proclaimed?
Why, yes, yes we did!
And this painting is one of the artworks that greeted us in that spacious, clean, bright, restroom with the totally private stalls.
Very nice!
We even taste-tested some Beaver Nuggets - think Cracker Jacks, with the volume cranked to 11 - and walked out with little Buc-ee Beavers for Miyah and Chloe.
And the gas prices were so low that Christina topped off the tank - woohoo!
(smile!)
Then we headed out on the highway -
looking for adventure -
and whatever came our way!
(Hey, everyone needs a hit of Steppenwolf now and then!)
(smile!

Of course, that bit of sugar in those Nuggets from the travel center soon had our appetites wanting something more.
Especially those - Miyah! - who had eschewed breakfast.
So, just above Brunswick, Christina pulled over for Sonny's Bar-B-Q, remembering a salad bar.
Nope, not anymore, dear!
But they did have Sonny's Cuban on the menu and, let me tell you, it was some kind of delicious!
It was also huge, so it's what's for dinner tonight at my house.
Speaking of, that's where I am!
My ever-loving first niece dropped me off in Savannah before turning south once more to take her "two yahoos" home to Hinesville.
Ahhhh... my house is sooo quiet...
(smile!)
