We were at Bowtie's Barbeque, of course, and that's Sandy there looking quizzically at Barbara.
Here is one featuring just Barbara and Kaye, with Kaye sporting some very snazzy tights!
We were out for a French musical... such a good time!
I cannot count the number of times we went there!
It was June of last year and it must have been a mild, humidity-free day for her to venture here to my AC-less house to watch a movie!
Here, Kelli, Sandy, Kaye, and Boo wait for Rancho Alegre to find a table for the five of us.
Barbara and Kaloyan Hariskov are sitting together, while Sandy, Kaye and Kelli are in the row behind them.
Those were definitely happier times.
(I didn't post this on the Gamble page.)
So, time to fast-forward to this summer. Here's our usual theatre-going group, sans the photographer.
That would be me, of course!
Now, jump back in time again, back to October of 2021 for a party at Christa's.Lauri and Lynn were in town, so the Squirrel Mistress called us out to Pooler.
Such great fun we had!
Usually Tomasz picks some good ones, but not for that rainy, September, Friday night two years ago.
Ack!
However, when we went in November last year, he'd brought for us a definite winner.Barbara and Sandy and I even arrived early enough to enjoy the nex exhibit in the adjacent art gallery.
Dr. Seuss would have loved it!
Here's one from the musical written by Steve Martin, seen at Savannah Country Day this year.We had a ticket snafu that evening, but it all worked out just fine.
So many good times, wrapped up in photos!
"Dear Debbie, David, family & friends," I'd written as a foreword to the impromptu album of memories, "here are more photos of Barbara, all taken since the pandemic abated. Out and about, at movies, musicals, and meals!"
I do hope these smiles on her face will be reassuring that she lived a fulfilled life, with loving friends often by her side.

These are all photos that were on my phone, which I bought after T-Mobile changed their towers, rendering my previous phone unable to communicate with the outside world.
I can only imagine how many other photos still exist on -that- phone.
