"So, y'all were evidently off to a movie again."
Yes, indeed! She used to have a ridiculous number of dolls, of a particular type, and I knew it would not do to see "Barbie" with anyone else until I saw it with her!
You recognized that we were at Rodeo?
"That's the only place y'all go for those blue drinks."
Sure enough! Maybe one day I'll be able to hoist one of those margaritas with her to toast her new job. She's landed a teaching position at a private school, still working with 4-year-olds, and is very excited about it!
"Good for her! That's got to mean more money, too."
Apparently so. She's been getting her class room all set up for the kids. School starts next week for her!
"Even better! Glad y'all got this luncheon before then."
