As I told Christina, this has become my favorite new show!!!
I tend to like game shows anyway, but this one is super fun!
Here's the premise of "The Quiz With Balls": two families of five compete against each other in guessing correct answers to a question.
Sounds like "Family Feud" so far, right?
Only, they aren't guessing the answers from scratch.
No, no, no.
There are six proposed 'answers' and the five family members stand atop the five choices they deem to be correct.
Then, Jay Pharaoh commands, "Release the balls!" and six HUGE yellow balls come rolling down the slides toward the contestants... and, if they have chosen poorly, that one gets bumped by the ball into the pool below!!!
Here's an example, with the balls already in motion down the slope.
The question was: "Which of these are actual TLC song titles?"
And see that guy on the far right?
He went into the pool!
His answer was all wet... nice joke!
The category had been "food and drink" and the question was "Which of these are actual wines?"
The balls are almost to the end of their travel in this shot, and it's the gal who is second from the left who gets dunked!
Hahahaha!
The goal is to have family members left by the tenth round to compete for the $100,000 prize.
Yes, this is a lot of fun!
